- Know that there are many water parks to choose from in the Maldives. They tend to be family-friendly, with a range of activities for all ages. And some of them are adults-only!
- Consider your budget and what you’re looking for. Some water parks have entry fees, while others don’t (though you may only be able to access the slides if you book a room at a specific hotel).
- Note that some offer all-day unlimited thrills, while others have limited hours when they operate their rides.
- Be sure to check out whether or not your chosen water park has any food and drink outlets on site (or whether you can bring your own). This is particularly important if you plan on spending the whole day taking advantage of everything on offer—you wouldn’t want to get hungry before the day is done!
Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu
If you’re looking for a resort that has a slide, Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu is the one for you.
The adults’ slide is 200 meters long and has a drop of 22 feet, ending in a beautiful lagoon. The kids’ one is 60 meters long and even has hairpin bends. They’re both made of bright yellow fibreglass, so they provide plenty of fun in the sun.
If you’re not feeling brave enough to take on the slides, there are plenty of other water sports available including waterskiing, banana boat rides and windsurfing as well as an adults-only infinity pool.
One&Only Reethi Rah
Many of these resorts are in the Indian Ocean, but for a real change of pace, you can find an equally stunning water slide at One&Only Reethi Rah Maldives. Here, you’ll be able to ride down a 24-foot-long slide that extends from the second floor of your villa into the deep blue lagoon below. These water villas range in size from 3,500 square feet to more than 10,000 square feet and go up to two stories tall. The first floor contains your living room and bedroom while the second floor houses both your private pool and sun deck along with the water slide.
Other amenities include access to either a full or half tennis court (no matter which villa you choose) as well as a fitness center equipped with everything from free weights and cardio machines to even an indoor rock climbing wall. When not sliding around your palatial abode or getting a workout in at this impressive fitness center, you can unwind at the resort’s many spas or swim around its near ten swimming pools.
Located just 30 minutes by boat from Male International Airport, this island resort is accessible via seaplane so you can be there in no time once you land on Male Island. Keep in mind though that every facility isn’t open throughout the year as some of them close for renovations during certain months so check its website before booking any flight or accommodation here.

If you’re anything like me, you love the idea of staying in a hotel that looks straight out of a Disney movie. And, like me, your childhood was probably filled with Saturday morning cartoons and movies about talking animals and interesting characters. So I bet it’s not hard to imagine the utter excitement I felt when I first heard about Maldives resorts with slides that run from the top of water towers down into pools.
Anantara Veli Maldives Resort is one such resort. Located in South Male Atoll, this 5-star resort has an incredible slide for its guests. The slide starts at the top of a water tower and ends 20 meters below in an outdoor pool. The minimum height requirement for using this slide is 12 years old, so if you’re taking your kids along on your next vacation to Anantara Veli Maldives Resort, they’ll be able to have some fun too!
Mirihi Island
Mirihi Island Resort located on a private island and is surrounded by beautiful beaches and turquoise waters. The resort has both over water bungalows that face west for sunset views and beach bungalows for those who want to enjoy the white sand on their doorstep.
The water slide is long—about 120 feet—and goes from one end of the island all the way down to the azure lagoon below. Once you reach its end, there is an underwater viewing window where you can see manta rays, sharks, and other fish swimming by. Although not free (it costs $35), this resort offers a unique experience that combines fun with luxury.
Conrad Maldives Rangali Island
Conrad Maldives Rangali Island is a luxurious resort located in Alif Dhaal Atoll. It is about a 30-minute seaplane ride from Male International Airport and is made up of two islands: Rangalifinolhu and Rangali Island. The resort offers plenty of facilities including a spa, gym, diving centre, watersports centre and kids club.
There are several different types of villas available at Conrad Maldives Rangali Island including beach villas with garden views, beach villas with ocean views, duplex water villas with swimming pool, deluxe water villas with swimming pool and family water villas with swimming pool. All feature private terraces so that guests can enjoy the gorgeous surroundings.
Anantara Kihavah Villas
The slide at Anantara Kihavah Villas takes you from the top of its Observation Deck, down three stories to the lagoon below.
In addition to the slide, guests of Anantara Kihavah Villas can enjoy a number of other activities and amenities. The resort features a kids club with daily events, tennis courts and freeform swimming pools.
Atlantis The Palm
Atlantis The Palm is a luxury hotel resort located at the apex of the Palm Jumeirah in the United Arab Emirates. It was the first resort to be built on the island and is themed on the myth of Atlantis but includes distinct Arabian elements.
You can see a sand slide going through shark-infested waters and this will surely be one of your most memorable experiences!

This pool is unique with its see-through glass bottom which gives you access to an above and below water view while swimming or relaxing in your lounge chairs.
Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa
This resort is located in the Maldives, a country in South Asia consisting of several thousand islands. The island on which the Sheraton Resort is situated is named Furanafushi, and it’s located near the North Male Atoll. This means that guests can enjoy scuba diving and snorkeling in nearby waters or simply relaxing on the resort’s beach.
The Sheraton Resort has a number of facilities that guests can use during their stay. There are three pools (including a kids pool) as well as two fitness centers. To access these facilities, guests must present their room key at reception upon arrival and then proceed to the changing rooms to grab their swimwear. It’s important to note that there are only two changing rooms per gender so if you want privacy while getting changed then we recommend going early!
In addition to having its own private beach, there are also other activities such as tennis courts available for anyone looking for more excitement than just lounging around reading books all day long! Guests will find themselves spoiled for choice when it comes time to eat too – with three restaurants serving up fine dining quality meals; including Japanese cuisine at Sake izakaya Bar & Restaurant (where you can order freshly caught sushi), Italian-style pizzas from La Piazzetta Deliziosa Ristorante (which have been voted one of Europe’s best by CNN Travel)!
