Like any island, the weather can be a little unpredictable. The Maldives are just above the equator, so it’s pretty warm year-round. But like anywhere in the tropics you get afternoon showers and occasional cloudy days. It was usually sunny when I woke up and had some rain in the afternoons, but that is to be expected. Also, there’s no real difference between summer or winter temperatures…it averages around 80 degrees Fahrenheit year-round!
