There are several other resorts located in the Maldives owned by Soneva Resorts.

Soneva Jani is another resort located on an island in the Noonu Atoll that just opened in 2016. There are 24 overwater villas and one island villa. The overwater villas also have their own water slides, similar to Soneva Fushi, but these water slides are even longer and lead directly into the Indian Ocean. And if you want to feel like King Neptune, there’s a glass-floored observatory within each of these villas where you can feed fish from above and below. The island villa has its own private beach and a retractable roof so you can sleep under the stars (if it’s not raining).

Six Senses Laamu is a resort with 97 private villas located on Olhuveli Island in Laamu Atoll. It’s close enough to Male that guests can reach the airport within an hour. Accommodations include 48 over-water bungalows with glass-bottomed bathrooms, 29 beachfront pool villas and 20 garden pool residences, each with its own swimming pool (and spiral staircase leading down to their own private beach). Six Senses Laamu also has an underwater restaurant called Subsix where guests (and non-guests) can enjoy dining by candlelight as manta rays fly overhead. You may feel like Aquaman eating here—the only difference is that this underwater dining experience requires pants and shoes instead of a speedo and flippers!
